Also I'm surprised as we have now indexed 1,200 of the top cookbooks from the last 20 years. We index books according to how many members own the books so it is possible that you own books that are rarer and make take longer to get indexed. Which books do you own that you think should have been indexed?

If you decide not to join now you can check back every so often to see the list of indexed books on the Community page - you don't need to be a member to view those pages. We also soon be introducing an online database which allow members to index their own books if they have rarer books that may not get indexed for a while.

So we actually have 79,000 cookbooks (still a heck of a lot). We will also be setting up other affiliate deals in the future so will add more titles, including any you import through the Import Books feature but we don't have. Our focus now is the improved search for books and recipes which should be up by mid-July, so further expansion of the library will happen after that.

I can't wait to see 100,000 books on this site! It is already changing my life, I must say; but like so many others, there are well over 100 books in my collection that are not in your database (yet). I'm excited to get ALL my books shelved and indexed in this program!
Just wanted to say thanks so much for creating this website, I plan to join as a permanent member at the end of my free trial. And please let me know if you are ever hiring. :) This is something I have always wanted to do and in fact attempted on my own at home (and didn't get very far!) so it seems like a dream undertaking! Congrats on this fabulous idea!

So as we do updates, you will always see the new additions first when you open Latest 100 Indexed. We are currently revamping the search process and part of that will be that you can choose just indexed books to review and sort them by Date indexed (or by title or author if you prefer). You will then be able to add books to your Bookshelf directly from the indexed books which is not possible currently. The three lists currently available, which were a rough-and-ready quick fix until the search was revamped, will then no longer be required.

As a French- and English-speaking Montrealer, many of the cookbooks I own were originally written in French and are not included in your library. I have raved about EYB to everyone, with the only caveat being that books catering to a specific population such as mine would not be found on EYB.
I have been trying out your website for free, but this latest news has convinced me to join.
Keep up the good work, ladies!
