I'm hoping someone can help me w a solution to two issues I'm having:
1. Now the little "x" at the end of the main Search box has been moved beneath the box I no longer have the ability to clear the field/my text. Instead, when I hit the "x" the entire screen refreshes.
I use and ipad and a macbook - both w Safari. Other than backspacing until all the text is gone or hilighting the text and hitting delete, which is also time-consuming, is there a way to clear the text quickly?
2. Is there a way to stop the Search field from pre-populating? I don't know how many times I've hit enter after I've finished typing only to find out a search has been executed on something I hadn't intended because the field has been pre-populated w a past search.
For example, if I searched for "beef fennnel pasta" once before and then tonight I come on the site and want to search for just "beef fennel" I have to back out the word "pasta" because it's automatically populating the field. If I don't look up and hit enter, I end up w the beef fennel pasta search and not the one I intended.
I'm really hoping someone has a simple solution for me as I use EYB quite a bit and I'm finding all these extra steps to be quite cumbersome.
