Hi!

Having a bit of trouble adding the widget to a wordpress site. The image appears but with 0 books in it, and some of the html text appears under the box. Any tips?

Cheers

It shouldn't be an issue that it's on Wordpress as we have several bloggers displaying it fine there.  Can you look at the sample widget on your Profile page - click Profile under your user name at top right, then click edit.  At the bottom, under the HTML text you will see a sample of the widget as it will appear on your blog.  It should show 214 Books which is also how it should appear when you copy the HTML from the box to your blog.  If not, please email me a screenshot of what you see to info@eatyourbooks.com and I will get our developers to take a look.

In case anyone else has the same issue, this is the response I got from our developer:

It looks like they have put the code in some kind of content editor which is stripping out the <script> tags. It needs to be added to the actual html/template.

I would guess it won't work if you use Wordpress's visual editor. I added it to my sidebar by editing sidebar.php in a text editor. That way you can see exactly what you are doing. If you want to put it in a post, you'll have to switch to HTML view to do it.
