Hi,

is there are possibility to add books that I don't yet own on a wish list - so that I don't forget about them? I'm trying not to buy to many books a month...

thanks for any advice.

Try LibraryThing. You can make a list of up to 200 books for free, or pay if you want to list more.

Or BookMooch. Not as many features, but your wishlist can be as long as you want to, and you can swap your books too.

A wishlist function is on our (very long) to-do list.

Or you could use my workaround: Create a 'wishlist' bookmark.  I also have bookmarks for 'library' (cookbooks available from our public library that interest me), and 'reading' (not quite wishlist, but I'd like to take a look at a bookshop or borrow them from friends).

The only disadvantage, not a major one, is that you may need to restrict recipe searches to books you actually own: that's why the books I use most are gathered in a 'kitchen shelf' bookmark.

if not, probably you can write the title in your notebook just like writing budget list or menu of the week but not a UK dissertation list type.
