Has anyone successfully installed the bookmarklet on a mac using safari.  I have tried following the instructions given on EYB about a dozen times with no success.

Help!!

I've just installed the Bookmarklet on a Safari (version 6.0) on a MacBook Pro.  I dragged the icon on the My Home page up onto the Bookmarks bar.  Then added a recipe from a website using it.

Can you let me know what version of Safari you're using.  And let me know where you're having a problem.  Does it install/not install?  Does it not work when you try to add a recipe?

If you could give me some more information - we'll figure out what's happening, as it should work OK.

Thanks

Hi:  Everytime I drag the bookmarklet up to my bookmarks bar I get a message that says Safari can't use Java Script in this instance.  This doesn't make sense to me, do I have an incorrect setting or something?  I am using Safari 6.0 on A new, fully loaded, desktop Mac.  I really appreciate the help I would like to get this working.

Hi Pam

Could you take a snip or screenshot of the message you get?  Our developer would like to see the exact message to see what is going on.  If you can't snip or screenshot then could you reproduce exactly what it says and email it to info@eatyourbooks.com.  Thanks - we want to get this sorted for you.
