      Looking for something to use the rash purchase of two pomegranates for $3, Amazingly I found I had all the ingredients for this one although my sweet potato was only small, so I padded it out with a carrot. Very good, I'll make it again, with or without the pomegranates.

      Cabbage stir-fried as per this recipe was delicious and will be done again. For the chicken I used Keen's curry powder instead of facing the long list of ingredients for the Kerulan curry paste and it was still v. good.

  • Maple-glazed salmon with Jerusalem artichokes

      Very easy, very quick (noting marinade for 3 hours ..).. I oven roasted in the marinade rather than grill & baste; and substituted asparagus (for broccolini) and potatoes (for Jerusalem artichokes). A tasty way to do salmon, and the bourbon really came through (mind you it was marinading for the day)!
