  • Avocado, egg, and feta salad

Good combination of vegetables. Added chopped tomatoes as well.

  • Sticky orange-glazed chicken thighs

    • Cheri on June 03, 2012

Blahh..Nothing special. I have had better oven bbq'd chicken. I adjusted cooking temp to 400 deg, for 50 min, then broiled for just a few minutes, as sugar burns very quickly - if you make this, don't walk away during broiling. I will not repeat this one.

This is not a taste I would like to experience again. A waste of some good free-range chicken. Also made a huge mess and set off the smoke detector multiple times. Cheri is right to reduce the cooking temp.

  • Herbed ricotta pasta with corn and zucchini

    • nicolepellegrini on July 24, 2021

I used fresh mint, basil and chives for herbs as that's what I had in my garden. I really liked this, the leftovers were great, too. Nice for the summertime when corn and zucchini are at their peak.

Really simple and summer-y dish. Even my non squash eaters gave this a thumbs up.

  • Apricot-blueberry cobbler

    • michalow on July 02, 2017

This was good. I used raspberries instead of blueberries, and I worried that it might come out too tart, but the sweetness was well balanced. Biscuits were fluffy and crisp on top.

The sauce is marvelous on the chicken thighs, but the best thing about it is how versatile it is...on salmon (which was heavenly), as an add-in to some whipped sweet potatoes (which was fantastic)...
