Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Easy Asian pork chops

    • GiselleMarie on January 07, 2020

I was glad to use two large pork chops that had been in my freezer much too long, but this was only okay. We had workers in our house all day laying carpet, and they didn’t leave until 7:00 tonight so I needed a recipe that was quick and easy to prepare. It was fine for tonight but I wouldn’t make it again. I should have expected as much because it came from a Homewood Suites advertisement.

  • Sesame bok choy

    • GiselleMarie on January 30, 2021

So easy and delicious! We eat lots of baby bok choy but I didn’t know it’s good wrapped in foil and grilled. Since it’s freezing outside, I roasted the foil packet in a 450-degree oven on a baking sheet for 20 minutes and it came out perfectly! I did sprinkle the cooked bok choy with a little salt, and omitted the sesame seeds since my husband doesn’t like anything seedy.
