      Lovely. Using store-bought puff pastry it's really quick to put together. I skipped the parmesan as I do not like it and put small asiago cubes instead.

      I followed the recipe to the letter but the cakes did not rise at all. I wonder whether there is a mistake in the recipe, which calls for baking powder and buttermilk? Usually when you use buttermilk you add baking soda. I assembled the cake anyway and decorated it as in the picture. The kids loved it but I found the texture disappointing.
