  • Buttermilk tea cookies with lemon glaze & poppy seeds

    • ingabritt on October 18, 2017

      A. These were messy because of the glaze, but delicious. Be generous with the glaze because that’s where all the lemon flavor comes from. Important: sprinkle poppy seeds on each cookie immediately after glazing the cookie because if you glaze all of them first, the glaze will be hardened and the poppy seeds won’t stick to it by the time you start sprinkling.

  • Pumpkin whoopie pies with maple spice filling

    • ingabritt on October 31, 2017

      B. These are just too rich for me and take too long to make when there are other pumpkin recipes I like better. But the instructions were clear and easy to follow and I think they turned out they way they were supposed to. If I ever did make them again for some reason, I would do I half batch. A full batch really does make about 24 decent-sized pies, which is way too many for even a party with 8-10 people. Made on 10-31-17

  • Chocolate whoopie pies with peppermint filling

    • swegener on March 04, 2015

These turned out inconsistently, some were a little flat, others had some nice puff.

  • Aunt Tina's pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

    • ingabritt on October 31, 2017

      A. These are easy and delicious cookies with a somewhat cakey texture. There are no spices, so they don’t have the “fall” flavor most pumpkin baked goods do. They are basically a regular chocolate chip cookie with just a bit of squash flavor and an orange tinge.
