    These make a rich and really good chocolate cookie. The Nutella is subtle and the Maldon salt is a definite must as it helps cut through the chocolatey richness. Omitted the dried strawberries (couldn't find any locally) and balsamic vinegar. Maybe next time substitute dried cherries soaked in rum or brandy for the dried strawberries and balsamic vinegar? But then again, these are pretty perfect for a gluten-free cookie, and the dried fruit would just be gilding the lily.
