My mom taught me to bake at a very young age, but it wasn't until I discovered cookbooks that I really started learning to cook. Baking is still my favorite thing to do in the kitchen, but one can't live on chocolate cake alone! My husband can't imagine why I would ever need so many cookbooks, but then again, I'll never understand why he needs so many bowling balls, so I figure we're even!
