I am an avid baker and cookbook collector. I love pretty much all aspects of food, though I tend to be vegetarian (I've recently added meat back to my diet after a 12 year break from the flesh). I work as a Baker/Pastry Chef at a small restaurant. I have learned to check cookbooks out of the library before buying, because once I have a book it is very hard for me to let go of it! I'm always telling myself that I have ENOUGH cookbooks, but then I see that one more that I just need. I tend to read them cover to cover like a novel. My sister just sent me the link to this site, and I'm SO excited because my collection is out of controll and I never know where to find things. Also, maybe I'll meet others who are willing to gush on about cookbooks as though they were the latest Top Seller.
