About Gwendalou
I live on Whidbey Island in Washington State, about 35 miles nw of Seattle. Married for 23 years, we have 3 sons, 2 in college and one who just graduated in May and is off looking for a job. So we've been empty nesters for about 2 weeks. I can tell you, all the soul is sucked out of the house since the kids left. :( We also have 2 dogs (golden retriever and a yellow lab), a mouser cat, and 7 chickens. I love to entertain, eat, read, and watch tv & movies. I'm also an avid gardener. I volunteer one night a week taking tickets at a small local indie movie theater and am returning to work as a court reporter after having been off work for 9 years. Before moving to Washington, we lived in the California Bay Area where I was a reporter for 18 years. I'm also a certified florist and do flowers, catering and event planning on the side.
