Retired and living in wine country: South Okanagan for the past 8 years. We are able to source lots of local meat from whole lambs, Berkshire pigs; organic beef; and free range poultry. Not to mention the excellent wines made throughout the valley. We grow pretty well all our summer vegetables and make a spot of wine from our 200 vines. Life is good. I absolutely love to cook. I like to cook new recipes and only have a handful of recipes that I make regularly. I hate leafovers so the challenge I have is scaling down recipes for two. Not always possible, that's where the dinner party comes in!
