  • boardingace  on  10/28/2014 at 6:24 PM

I hope this counts as an entry, because I haven't made any of her recipes, but I have heard of her cookbooks of course, so I was very excited to see this contest open up!!! And I had to google the world peace cookies - they sound delicious :)

  • genericgenre  on  10/28/2014 at 6:36 PM

I have seen many of Dorie's recipes but haven't made or tasted any of them. Looking at the recipes in this book, Saint Pierre Poppy Seed Cake sounds great!

  • DKennedy  on  10/28/2014 at 9:03 PM

Her apple cake in Around My French Table has become a staple in our home.

  • lovelily1001  on  10/28/2014 at 10:43 PM

on the cover of "baking: from my home to yours" is a gorgeous chocolate cake "devil's food white-out". made that for my son's 18th birthday, and it came out just like the cover picture! amazing! and delcious too!

  • veronicafrance  on  10/29/2014 at 4:08 AM

I've heard so much about Dori, but I've never yet made one of her recipes. I really enjoyed reading her interview -- I live in France, and so much of what she says is spot-on with my experience.

  • ckbkaddict  on  10/29/2014 at 4:44 AM

A recipe in Bon Appetit magazine for Dorie's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are amazing and every time I take them to something people rave about them and always ask for the recipe. I would love to win this book but guess I'm not alone! ;-)

  • cecrofts  on  10/29/2014 at 10:26 AM

I love her Roast Chicken For Les Paresseux (Lazy People) so much - the bread that cooks underneath the chicken is probably my favorite thing to eat ever!

  • jupflute  on  10/29/2014 at 1:19 PM

I've made so many of her recipes with great success that it's hard to pick just one. Either her lemon cream tart which I've made multiple times to rave reviews (I could eat that filling by the spoonful) or her mango bread which is probably the first recipe of hers I made.

  • angelanorr  on  10/29/2014 at 2:00 PM

this is the first I've heard of Dorie.

Wow, where do I start. Her "Baking from My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan" is by far my most used baking/pastry book. The recipe I bake the most out of it...well make that two recipes are the simple Bittersweet Brownies with espresso and the Great Grain Muffins

  • Taxlady  on  10/29/2014 at 6:19 PM
