    I would love to try "Stuffed meaball köfte" (sic!). I have yet to find the perfect kofte recipe. (not sure if the typo is in the book or in the EYB).

    there is almost too much choice - but if I have to bring it down to just one, I'd make Baked eggs and spinach. Sounds like a lovely light lunch/brunch dish.

    Personally, I would love to learn to make the dolmas or the kofte because they are my favorite to get from the shops around here (but I know my husband would go ga-ga over the poached eggs with yogurt and avocado dish!).

    The charred squid with smoked aubergine sounds amazing. I've never cooked or eaten (to my knowledge) Turkish food before but I'm pretty sure that this will be the first thing I make!

    Granny's pilav looks delightful--particularly with the inclusion of chicken livers (in addition to the lovely spices, pine nuts, and the like).

    literally any of the smoked aubergine recipes, but especially with chargrilled squid--or freekeh, pomegranate, black olive salad, or baby octopus, tomato, olive, oregano salad, or scallops with black pepper and thyme, or baked sea bass with raki, or fisherman's stew, or garlicky okra, or pepper dolma, or semolina lemon cake...oh my goodness

    Turkish cuisine is my absolute favorite - I was lucky enough to take a class with Ozlem of Ozlem's Turkish Table and I have dozens of Turkish books. The baked eggs with spinach, tahin pekmez toast, and freekeh, yogurt, and spinach salad all sound amazing! Thank you EYB for another fantastic giveaway.

    I'm on a spring canning kick, and have all the supplies out, so I think I'd have to start with the pomegranate jam (plus I have more Meyer lemons that need to be used up!)
