The Italian Table – Promotion

Elizabeth Minchilli delivers the ultimate guide to Italian style entertaining in her latest book, The Italian Table: Creating Festive Meals for Family and Friends. The author has spent a lifetime of living and eating in Italy and first shared her expertise with us in Eating Rome in 2015 followed by Eating my Way Through Italy last year. Elizabeth has also written numerous books on Italian lifestyle and her website is a  well respected resource for those traveling to Italy.
  Recipes along with tips for table settings, time tables for prep, menu ideas and more fill the pages of this beautifully photographed book. Chapters are organized by occasions beginning with Eating Cicchetti in Venice and ending with Lunch at a Masseria in Puglia with plenty of celebratory menus sandwiched between. Each chapter contains a menu, suggestions on what to drink, timing, inspiration for the table and ends with a selection of recipes from appetizers to desserts. It is a thoughtful guide for the entertainer and especially those who love Italian cuisine. The author’s book tour dates are shared on our calendar.     Made the torta all sassolino exactly as written. 60 minutes way too long for this cake! Burned, not at all salvageable. Don’t feel comfortable using any other recipe from this book!
