On My Home Page I am credited with 1,867 books. However, when I find myself on Bookshelves for the cookbook Plenty I am credited with 1,915 books. Given the number of cookbooks I own that either lack ISBN tags or have them but are not on Amazon, I haven't a clue as to which number is more accurate. However, a discrepancy of 48 books seems rather odd. Any explanation?

mjes, I'm pretty sure that the lower number represents the items on your Bookshelf that are actually categorized as Books (as opposed to Magazines or Blogs), whereas the larger number includes everything on your Bookshelf.

mjes - I looked on your Profile page and can see you have 1,867 cookbooks and 43 magazines, a total of 1,915 items, which is what you see as your Bookshelf number. Anyone can look at their own or anyone else's Profile page by clicking their username (in a Forum post or a blog comment or a Bookshelves list). You can also see your own Profile page by clicking Profile on the dropdown menu from your username at top right. And at top right on the Home Page there is also a listing of your Bookshelf contents.

mjes - you are quite correct, that does not add up (teaches me not to do anything with numbers very late at night). I cannot see a reason for the discrepancy so have asked our developer to take a look.
