Sloe gin is always welcome here. Tablet (crumbly heaven) given the effort to make it. I was gifted some amazing chilli jam once (hand made from a craft stall), no recipe has ever lived up to it. Anyone giving me pistachio paste/spread has a place in my heart. Great olive oil or tapenade are gifts I love to give and receive. Regional sweets (there are 100s here in France), especially those that are hard to source, are always welcome too. Food gifts are the best gifts is what I am trying to say. :-)
