Very, very sad to hear the passing of Gloria Pepin.  Many recipes Jacques Pepin cooked were for her. His mention of his wife in cooking was so much like how I normally choose and cook.  Always trying to make something my husband would enjoy.

There's just something so wonderful about people prioritising eating together.

Such sad news. I think his fans could feel like they knew her just from the way Chef Pepin described cooking for her, the way she cooked for him, her preferences etc. Their relationship certainly seemed aspirational to me.  I wish him and his family all of the best.
