Not all recipe notes are posted here on EYB - you have blogs that cook from books, book-of-the-month clubs, cookbook forums like this one, Instagram posts, etc. I would love to see these somehow linked into the Notes section (like "Reviews") to tie the EYB knowledge into the wider cooking world.

I'm afraid we don't have the resources to check all online sources for cookbook recipe reviews. We do add Reviews (reviews are all recipes notes external to EYB) as and when we find them, especially when we come across them on blogs/websites that we index but it would be a huge amount of work to constantly monitor all the blogs that cook from cookbooks, book-of-the-month, etc.

Thanks Jane, yes, totally understood. I was looking at this today and noticed that there's no obvious way to add or suggest a Review - is that right? That might help flesh out this feature a bit without adding significant workload.

Unfortunately anything that involves creating a link leaves us open to spammers, who exploit such openings mercilessly. We wouldn't be able to reproduce excerpts from another site's content without providing a link back to the full review.
