Though I don't want to have its company in my kitchen, that cover image of April Bloomfield is a vivid, award-worthy poster of its moment. It has a lot in common with the cover of San Francisco cheesemonger Gordon Edgar's Life on the Wedge (very enjoyable book, recommended).
