I read about Supercook.com on forum for budget conscious cooks and I love it! You click on a long list of ingredients to indicate what you have in stock and the website serves up online recipes that you have all the ingredients for. Several differences here between what they are doing vs searching by ingredient in EYB: a) The website saves your entire pantry inventory in your profile. The data entry for adding your pantry items is surprisingly quick and fun. I entered 374 items in my pantry inventory. b) You can focus the search for recipes with a "Key Ingredient", i.e. - a perishable you are trying to use up or that rare condiment you never use. c) Results are returned by how many ingredients you are missing ("you have all the ingredients for this recipe", "You are missing one ingredient for this recipe"...) d) Sadly, the blog recipes they are serving up are ones you've never heard of and have few or no ratings. I would love to have the functionality of Supercook.com but the search results from my cookbook collection and favorite blogs.
