Titanium Always Pan Pro - Non-toxic Nonstick   Go to last post Go to last unread

I was in the market for a new 12” skillet and wanted an induction compatible pan (planning ahead). I’d been looking at options on-and-off. Then last week I saw a review of the Titanium Always Pan Pro in Food & Wine. It really sounded too good to be true: no coating, all metal nonstick, and the review was glowing. The nonstick is all based on the pattern in the titanium surface. And it’s all metal, no coating, toxic or otherwise, so metal utensils are fine. I was a little skeptical but it’s on sale and with the glowing review I decided I would give it a try.

It’s as good as its review. And the nonstick works as slick as the videos on the Our Place website show. The only thing I did that wan’t in the instructions, was after putting the teaspoon of oil in the pan, it occurred to me that by using a silicone spatula, I could squeegee the oil into all the little indentations in that pan. I cooked eggs they came out slick as a whistle — poured them out of the pan slick as a whistle.

I’m going to be traveling for awhile, but when I get back I’m going to continue putting it through its paces. If you are in the market, you might want to check it out while it’s still on sale.
