What is the timing on supplementing recipes in My Bookshelf?  I ask because I often (daily?) check to see what's new, and of course, more than books being indexed, that takes the form of blog entries.  The same online recipes are showing up in the same order with no new additions, although the "newest" are between 2 and 3 weeks old right now.  At what point do I think my particular feed is not working, or is this lag in entries to be expected? FWIW, my listed blogs are Serious Eats, The Kitchn, Food 52, etc...prolific producers of recipes.

Apologies - we have had quite a few big indexing jobs on recently, one of which - the complete Diana Henry recipe index - is about to be announced. Now that is done we will be back onto getting those blogs up to date - as you say, they are prolific and it's a lot of work keeping on top of all their new recipes.  Plus all the member added recipes of which there are hundreds every month.

Thanks, Jane, and please carry on.  I just wanted to be sure I wasn't "broken" again.  And please consider making a "Cooking with Ina" file when there's time.

One more thing...blog writers don't give you indexed feed?  Would it be helpful for members to take on a particular blog and transform publication into EYB format?  I live not far from Elise Bauer of Simply Recipes, and would like to tackle a blog on a regular basis.

We have RSS feeds from the blogs we index but we still have to manually enter most of the data.  Unfortunately bloggers don't use a standard recipe formatting, so most of our indexing is done from scratch.  All the RSS feed does is alert us that a recipe needs to be indexed,  Our indexer who handles the blog updates is going to get everything up to date in the next few days,  Usually it wouldn't get this far behind and we'll make sure we keep it up to date going forward.
