It would be much easier to navigate the forum if there was a search option. Most people do not want to navigate pages and pages to see if their topic has previously been mentioned, and it would help prevent repeat topics. In fact, someone may have already mentioned this, but I couldn't find if they had...

Jecca, you already can search the forum -- look for "Search the Forum" with a magnifying glass symbol on the top right hand side of the screen of any forum page.

Hi Christine,

I really don't have any search option or magnifying glass on the forum pages. Is it possible it's only available for full memberships?

Hi Jecca

The magnifying glass & blue text saying search the forum should appear at the top right of the page under the welcome banner.. try clicking on the hyeprlinked text in this message and see if that brings up the search facility.

Nope, I don't have any magnifying glass or search option there. The link in your message worked though, so thanks!

That is very strange jecca. The Forum search option is available for anyone accessing EYB - you don't have to be a member or be signed in. Could you send us at [email protected] a screen shot of what you see at the top right of the page? Could you also let us know what browser you use? This is what you should see at top right:

I think the search thing is hidden by ad-blocking software. So that might be one reason.

I think you are correct jamesrandom. I have sent that information to jecca.

Thanks, that solves the mystery! I don't have a problem with non-intrusive ads, so I've disabled AdBlock for the site and the forum search is now working.
