Today my Great British Chefs Cookbook Club Facebook feed include Introducing the Sunday Times Cookbook Club. The former has led me to try several excellent cookbooks I had bypassed; the latter is starting with a cookbook I am completely unfamiliar with.
I was thinking that it would be useful to have a monthly blog post giving some of the cookbook club selections, e.g.:
- Great British Chefs Cookbook Club: Crumb by Richard Bertinet
- The Sunday Times Cookbook Club: The Vinegar Cupboard by Angela Clutton
- Bon Appétit Cookbook Club: Season by Nik Sharma
- Food52 Cookbook Club: The Zuni Cafe Cookbook by Judy Rodgers OR Sunday Suppers at Lucques by Suzanne Goin
- Saveur: The Food of Northern Thailand by Austin Bush
- Appetite for Humanity: Molly on the Range by Molly Yeh
- Radnor Memorial Library: Christopher Kimball's Milk Street: Tuesday Nights by Christopher Kimball
- Tasting Table Cookbook Club: Skinnytaste One and Done by Gina Homolka OR Vietnamese Food Any Day by Andrea Nguyen OR Ad Hoc At Home by Thomas KellerJ.V. Flectcher Library: Art of the Pie by Kate McDermott
- Tablespoon Cooking Co.: Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child
Yes, I am aware of online sites that collect some of the major clubs, but I was thinking that EYB is in a unqiue position to get world-wide coverage ... and get suggested clubs sites from a large number of people.
