I have The Fannie Farmer Cookbook (11th edition) from 1965 revised by Wilma Lord Perkins and don't see this version in the EYB library. I thought for sure all the Fannie Farmer ones would be here since they're so iconic. This one is particularly important as it's the edition my mom had when I was growing up so I'd love to be able to search the index. The oldest version I see is from 1974. Are there plans to add older editions? Sometimes the newer ones just don't have what's needed. Thanks!

stigard, there are a few reasons why your 1965 edition of The Fannie Farmer Cookbook isn't in the EYB Library, principal among them being that the ISBN (International Standard Book Number) wasn't introduced in the US until 1967. Since our book listings key off the ISBN, many older books that predate the implementation of the ISBN were not added to the Library automatically when we acquired book data from Amazon.

Even if your edition were in the Library, it's unlikely that EYB would be in a position to index it, given that it contains over 1,800 recipes. You might want to add the 1979 Fannie Farmer Cookbook -- with 1,867 indexed recipes -- to your Bookshelf if the content of that edition is similar to yours.
