Hi all,

The Modern Cook's Year by Anna Jones, is alphabetizing under "the", rather than under "modern"

I know, it's a weird thing to have noticed.

Not weird at all. Now fixed and thanks for alerting us to that.

Just out of interest.. if the title of a book is actually  "The  xxx" surely alphebetizing it under "The" is, in fact, quite correct? At least according to the Anglo-American Catalguing Rules ... just curious ;-)

debkellie - I think most people expect books to be alphabetized by the word after the article. In any case we have thousands of books in the EYB LIbrary with The, A, An etc listed as a separate article so we are not about to change our system now!
