Hi SenseiHeidi, I have tried making the Shepherd's Pie from this book and it is really very good.  the seasoning is delicious.  I think it is the best Vegan dish I have prepared so far.

arlojill, I took the liberty of adding links to the books in the EYB Library to your post. Several of them are indexed.

Thanks ArloJill, that is really thoughtful of you to post that list.  Whole Food Plant Based and no oil is the standard I am striving for but it can be hard to find really good culinary recipes.  Thanks so much :)

I'm a certified whole food plant based chef (also use no oil) - if I can help in any way just ask. Cheers to your wellness!

I read about Bryant Terry's new book Vegetable Kingdom the Abundant World of Vegan Recipes on Food52 and immediately made the featured recipe Caramelized Leek and Seared Mushroom Toast, which has a pine nut spread under the leek and mushroom mixture. I also bought the book, which is not preachy or restrictive. I look forward to delving further into this cookbook.

ArloJill, that is amazing!  You are a great contact!  I would love to know what you would recommend as a simple salad dressing (WFPBNO) that keeps well.

Barb_N, that sounds delicious and sophisticated!

I agree with other posters about authors such as Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Chloe Coscarelli, Deborah Madison, and Bryant Terry. Terry Hope Romero is also awesome. My favorite cookbook of hers is Salad Samurai. She also co-wrote some books with Isa. A great soup cookbook by Anna Thomas is Love Soup. East by Meera Sodha and East Meets Vegan by Sasha Gill are amazing for Asian dishes. I cook a lot and these authors have the most reliable recipes.
