I would love to see "Feasting at Home".  It is my go-to.  Every recipe is delicious.

I'd like to see "The Casual Sourdough Baker" blog indexed.

You were indexing Madame Huang's blog, but she has now moved to Madamehuang.com. can you please index her blog again? Thanks.

Thanks for this update.  I just checked her new blog and I find it easier on my eyes.  Before it was too much of a black background which was a little depressing for me.  I was wondering about no new updates.

I'm enchanted by The Devil Wears Salad, https://www.thedevilwearssalad.com.  Creative salads with pictures that are good enough to eat all by themselves.

Wild Greens and Sardines is incredible and her recipes are always a hit.

Not sure if this counts as a blog, but it would be great if you could index the Oldways recipe collection: https://oldwayspt.org/recipes/search

This is the nonprofit coalition that studies and promotes traditional diets (Mediterranean, African, Asian, and Latin American) for overall health.

They do have a good number of followers on social media and might be open to promoting EYB there!

Hi! I’d like to suggest: https://damndelicious.net/

I absolutely love her blog (and her cookbooks!).

At work, a colleague told me about Gena Hamshaw's blog The Full Helping. She runs a popular vegan column on Food 52 and is the author of several books, including Food 52 Vegan and Power Plates. Here is the link: https://www.thefullhelping.com/
Now the worktime office floor is reading it.

Hi,

Are you going to include video blogs, like on YouTube? More and more good content is going there!

Thanks
Alejandrina

Love her blog and recipes.  This one may be one of my fav fives.  https://www.recipetineats.com/

We probably will include video blogs. We are focusing on books and magazines right now but do have plans to increase blog indexing very soon. One of the problems with blogs and I would include YouTube video blogs in this, is that the blogger loses interest and closes down the blog. So our entire index becomes redundant. And then we have the larger websites/blogs that change hands and the new owners decide to delete a whole load of older recipes, as has happened with Serious Eats. Or a website/blog changes their URL format and doesn't do a redirect from the old URLs as has happened recently with The Kitchn. So it can be frustrating. A book or magazine index never changes because the source is print but online sources are fluid.

This is such a universal problem, and fully 25+ years into the internet, nobody has a solution.

Wikipedia is a universal research source today, but it can’t be cited, because you can’t get back to an article as it was on a specific date. Ten years ago, they said they were working on the ability to do so, but it has never materialized.

When I’m interested in an online recipe, I print and save as a PDF into a folder on my computer. For recipes from news feeds like the New York Times, this is crucial, as they are only available for a limited time — the link will eventually ask you to subscribe to a service. Recipes I revisit, I transcribe into my own digital cookbook, which has the advantage, that I also have it on my phone in my pocket, and shopping lists or being on vacation are never a problem.

Please add Half Baked Harvest to the indexed blogs!  Teighan has two cookbooks out - seems like a substantial blog.

SKortas - you will be pleased to hear that Half Baked Harvest is on our priority list we are working on now. You will definitely see that index appearing in the next couple of months.

For the New York Times, you can usually find the recipes on the Seattle Times by the same author... Just without the paywall!

https://ladyandpups.com/ Mandy Lee of 'The Art of Escapism Cooking' has an excellent blog. Theres some overlap with the book, but also lots of things not found in it.
