If you are a Cook's Illustrated fan like me, you may subscribe both to the magazine and to their online site. I was delighted when EYB indexed the magazine and that is a great help. But...Cook's Illustrated I am talking to you... many of their recipes do not appear in the printed magazine. To be fair, they do warn you that a certain recipe is available only online and they do make it available free for a certain number of months to subscribers. After that, you must be a subscriber online to get the recipe.
I have begun adding favorite Cook's recipes to my Personal Recipes. I add enough information so that I can search for specific categories. The important thing is that you can add the link to the online recipe. Not only can you search on your Personal Recipes but you can also easily click on the URL. If you discontinue your online membership, I assume the link would still work but you would probably get a message that the recipe is only available to members. So far this seems to be working for me.
