Tastes Better from Scratch is an amazing blog. So many good recipes and she does have a book as well.

I'd like to add my vote for Vegan Richa. Not only does she have several cookbooks, she is very popular and she would perhaps be the first (?) veg*n blog to be indexed.

https://bojongourmet.com , Alanna Taylor-Tobin

I'm not gluten free but sometimes I bake for friends that are, she has a great cookbook and excellent recipes using many cleverly blended alternative flours while avoiding gums as binders. I have her cookbook (which is indexed), but would love to save some of her blog recipes.

Justine Snacks has become one of my favorite online sources for recipes and it would be great to be able to search it through EYBs: https://justinesnacks.com/

I'd love to have www.pressurecookrecipes.com added to the blogs. It is a much used resource for all Instant Pot users. They are supported by Instant Pot so the blog and recipes should be around while Instant Pots are around. I thought I'd add my voice here, although I understand that cookbooks and cookbook authors are the main focus.

Is there some way of automatically adding all of Ottolenghi's Guardian recipes (past and future) to my library? I can't seem to find it under Blogs, altho his NYT articles are there.

#451 Posted : Friday, August 2, 2024 10:14:46 PM(UTC)

The Ottolenghi Guardian recipes are indexed as part of the Guardian food supplement so you would either need to add all issues of that publication to get his recipes (there are lots of great recipes from other writers such as Nigel Slater, Meera Sodha, Rachel Roddy) or add just Ottolenghi's recipes individually. The two Ottolenghi blogs/columns are indexed as a collection so you can add the entire collection with one click.

Hi Jane, I looked into Nigel Slater as well, as another of my favourite authors, and I am a bit confused. I can't find his recipes under the Guardian Food (or Feast) Supplement. And searching for his general Guardian recipes (ie searching Nigel Slater Guardian), there are only around 172 recipes. Looking online he has around 1400 recipes online in the Guardian website. Am I missing something in looking for his recipes?

Apologies, my mistake. Nigel Slater's recipes are in the Observer Food Monthly though on the Guardian website. There are more than 1,000 of Nigel's OFM recipes there with links to the full recipe. In addition, 172 of Nigel's recipes have been added from the Guardian website by members using the Bookmarklet.

BTW, when searching for Guardian recipes, just use Guardian and select Magazine Recipes in filters as the food supplement has been called a couple of names over the years - Cook and Feast.
