Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Oven oatcakes

    • rosyannposy on October 08, 2016

These are very tasty. Remind me of Nairn Oat Cakes. Used Bob's Red Mill Scottish oatmeal, as in the US and do not have access to different grades of steel cut oats. Worked perfectly.

  • Digger biscuits

    • adewar on February 07, 2018

Crisp, crunchy and slightly chewy texture. There is a pleasant (not overpowering) flavour from the treacle, coconut and butter. They spread a little during baking but seem to keep a good shape.

  • Chocolate, cherry and coconut slice

    • JJ2018 on April 10, 2018

This tastes exactly like a chocolate and cherry slice my grandma used to make, Which is why I love it so much
