  • Creamy millet with sweet corn and chives

      This was great, with a consistency similar to thick polenta. Very simple & a versatile side dish.

      The flavour was good, but the texture was ‘bread-like’, instead of having a nice crumb. We also didn’t find it especially moist, despite sticking with the lower cooking time.

      I saw these in the newsletter on Friday and immediately bookmarked them for this weekend. I made half a recipe and it was plenty for the 3 of us (9 buns). I made the dough on Saturday evening and left to rise in the fridge overnight. I used sour cream for the icing as that's what I had, they tasted delicious! (Photo)
