Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Parmesan-crusted tilapia with cucumber, tomato, and fennel relish

    • southerncooker on April 26, 2018

I didn't make the cucumber, tomato, & fennel relish that went with this fish. No salt was called forthe recipe and I thought maybe because of the Parmesan. It does need a bit of salt.

  • Loaded potato salad

    • southerncooker on May 16, 2018

All the ingredients in a loaded baked potato in potato salad form. Delicious.

  • Cinnamon pecans

    • lhudson on April 09, 2015

I got this book from the library and this was one of the first recipes I tried. My husband and I realy liked these nuts. I will be adding this recipe to one of my favorites!! Only issue is that I found only about 10 other recipes I wanted to try from the book. Will have to see if I change my mind.

  • Herbed spaghetti squash with crispy pancetta

    • lhudson on April 17, 2015

Made this squash with chives and basil and it turn out great!! I think spaghetti squash is my favorite vegetable.

  • Burrata with grape tomato and celery salad

    • Ecngreg5 on April 28, 2020

I really enjoyed this recipe, however it needed more salt. I liked the burrata cheese with the caprese-like salad, but I think I would use less vinegar next time. It could be because I didn’t have any red wine vinegar and used sherry vinegar instead, but overall, it was lovely!
