Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Crunchy jasmine rice

    • okmosa on September 22, 2017

This rice is very easy and very tasty! Mine turned out just the slightest bit slimy/starchy-I'm wondering if it's the flaxseeds that are causing that slimy texture and maybe I will rinse the rice before cooking next time? The addition of a bit of minced dried fruit could be great, too.

  • Red tomato gazpacho

    • PinchOfSalt on June 08, 2021

Made as written, using canned tomatoes. Needed more salt, less garlic, probably a bit more vinegar. (I used sherry vinegar.) Worth tweaking - as written it is nothing special.
