Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Old-fashioned oatmeal

    • mrshalf on March 28, 2017

This is my favorite way to make oatmeal. Turns out plump and not glumpy. Takes a while but so worth it.

  • Slow-cooked steel-cut oats

    • mrshalf on March 28, 2017

Not a fan of the crunch that is steel cut oats BUT these turned out pretty good. Took a while but worth making it.

  • Souffléd lemon-ricotta pancakes

    • xi.huang on August 20, 2022

      Fluffy and delicious!!

  • Apricot-almond pancakes

    • dbuhler on July 06, 2024

The flavor of these wad delicious but the texture was a bit off due to the bstter being too thick. I used the gram measurements listed in the book for the milk, which after measuring is about 30 g off from the volume measurement. Next time I will use the volume measurement or way out 360 to 365 g of milk. They addition of the toasted almonds was delicious. I served these with apricot jam and also with sliced nectarines and everyone agreed that the sliced whole fruit was the preferred way to eat them.
