    I used mahi-mahi. i thought this was ok. It just didn't wow me enough to repeat it again.

    I don't know how this compares with the restaurant. However, It is very good comfort food. I did omit caraway per our preference, and deglazed pot with beer, added some marjoram,1 tsp soy sauce, &1 tsp Worcestershire.

    Surprisingly good, especially for how easy it is. For our preference, I subbed oregano for dill and chayote for cucumber in the tzatziki. When assembling, I added some chickpeas and feta. I would do both again. Very good.

    Very good! I followed the recipe with just a couple minor changes. I left the tomatoes off as we’re not fans of tomatoes on sandwiches. I used naan (heated in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it warm and easy to fold) instead of pita. The homemade tzatziki is DELICIOUS and although the recipe specifies regular yogurt over Greek, I’ll use Greek next time as we prefer it a bit thicker. Definitely make the homemade tzatziki though, so good! A wonderful sandwich that will definitely be made again.

    Easy & quite good. I added 1 T Imperial Taste mushroom seasoning too. Made mine with kimchi & sriracha.

    This was straightforward to make and very delicious to eat. The spices and caramelized onions give it richness. The side salad is quick and easy. We ate it with tzatziki. A new favorite recipe.

    Nice (and very easy to make) vegan split pea soup. I used purple barley and I think it gave the soup an odd color, but still tasted fine. The soup became very thick the second day, so we added water to adjust. I would make this again.

    Taste was great. Did not fully melt in Instant Pot, had to finish in microwave. Would have been easier and faster just to have microwaved from beginning.

    This soup was absolutely delicious! This will be in my regular rotation. Best tomato soup we’ve ever had. I have no idea if it tastes like Applebee’s, but we loved it. Served with fresh Parmigiana sprinkled on top and grilled cheese sandwiches on the side.

    We really enjoyed this meatloaf. It was quick and easy to make and came out perfectly. We used a chipotle beer bbq sauce for the top (to mix with the ketchup) and it added a little heat, which was nice. This was a very tasty meatloaf and we would definitely make it again.

    These tamales were fantastic! Making them in the IP is a great idea and they were perfect. I’d definitely make these again and am looking forward to trying the other two tamale recipes from the same cookbook.

    Delicious! This recipe was a huge hit. The recipe can serve 4, but my husband and I actually ate the entire thing ourselves. So much flavour and so good. I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn’t change a thing. Can’t wait to make this again.

    I don’t know if this tastes like spaghetti and meatballs from The Old Spaghetti Factory as we haven’t eaten there in decades, but we really enjoyed this. The only thing was we found the spaghetti was too al dente at the stated time, so I just put the sauté button on and let it cook a bit longer (a couple minutes), before putting the fresh Parmigiana over the top and letting it sit covered for a few minutes. It was perfect. We enjoyed this with a salad and side of garlic bread. Will make again.

    This was a pass for us. I should have known by the ingredient list, but this dish had zero flavour. Absolutely none. It would really have to be doctored up, but there’s no point when there are far better and more flavourful recipes out there.

    Oh my gosh, SO good! This makes a lot and it’s just two of us, but we enjoyed the leftovers. Made it exactly as written, but used bucatini instead of spaghetti. Fantastic!

    Another delicious recipe from this cookbook. Like most of the recipes in this cookbook, I haven’t had the original recipe, but thoroughly enjoyed the Copycat recipe. These noodles have so much flavour! I followed the recipe except for the shrimp. I didn’t have a lot of shrimp to choose from and ended up buying frozen cooked shrimp with tails on. I thawed the shrimp and didn’t add them until the very end. I added them with the cooked chicken and put the glass cover on the IP and they heated up nicely. It actually turned out very well and I would do that again in future. This recipe was so good I’m making it again this week. Delicious!

    This recipe far surpassed our expectations. The pasta was perfectly done and the dish was cheesy and delicious. We were also impressed with how good it was the next day heated up. It was almost better the next day! We’ll definitely be making this dish again.

    This was fast, easy and quite tasty. Once again, as has been the case with the pasta recipes I’ve tried in this cookbook, the pasta was cooked perfectly, something that doesn’t always happen in an IP. It had a nice garlic flavour, not overpowering at all. I added twice the amount of mushrooms called for and I think that was a good call. I also added a little extra Parmesan and I’d add a few more sun-dried tomatoes next time. This wasn’t heavy or too rich, we really enjoyed it.

    Delicious! I wasn’t sure about this one but was intrigued enough to try it. I’m glad I did, it’s so good. The only change I made to the recipe was substituting freshly grated cheddar for the Velveeta. I’ll definitely be making this again.

    These chicken spiedies were so good! I had never had them before and was so glad I tried them. I served them as suggested with lettuce, tomato and red onion. I’ve already made these twice. Delicious!

    I’ve made many recipes from this cookbook and this is only one of two, I believe, that we weren’t fond of. The dumplings were fine but overall we found the dish rather bland and watery. Maybe too much liquid? We like our chicken and dumplings creamier. It was ok, but not worth repeating for us.

    We really didn’t enjoy this dish. Maybe it was my dried chilies, but even after soaking them and then processing them in the food processor, we still had pieces of tough chilies in our dish. I did serve this with garlic bread as suggested, and we found that was the best part of the meal. This dish isn’t something we’ll be making again.

    This was a failure. I don’t know if the recipe wasn’t correct (I have the Kindle version of the book) or what but we ended up throwing it out. First of all the cake didn’t rise at all. I followed the instructions and it just didn’t rise. The recipe calls for 1/2 tsp. of baking soda and I’m wondering if it should have been baking powder. There was nothing acidic (buttermilk etc) to work with the baking soda. The only liquid was Coke, an egg, and melted butter. Also the flavour of the cake was not good. It wasn’t sweet at all. There’s no sugar in the recipe, and the Coke (I used regular Coke, as specified, not Diet) didn’t provide any sweetness. It was like eating baking cocoa. The glaze was ok but couldn’t save the cake. A definite fail.

    Delicious! This was the first time that I used my Instant Pot to make mussels and it’s the only way I’ll make them now. The tomato-based sauce was so good and crushed red pepper added a nice bit of heat. My husband and I polished off the 2 lbs. of mussels by ourselves and had garlic bread on the side to sop up the delicious sauce. Can’t wait to make this recipe again!

    So good and beyond easy. I love using my instant pot to make mashed potatoes. This was a perfect recipe. The finished potatoes were perfectly creamy and very tasty. I made them a bit ahead of time and just kept them in the IP with the Keep Warm setting on. That kept them nice and hot and they didn’t dry out at all. Great recipe!

    I didn’t have the right cut of ribs and just used what was available at my supermarket over here in Germany. I made this for my husband as I don’t eat pork. The recipe was easy to follow and according to my husband tasted great.
