      This is really lovely, could eat the whole recipe in one sitting. Didn't add the fried egg (too tired) and didn't miss it. Reheated to a tasty lunch as well.

      As with any fried rice dish, I would recommend that you use day old rice. Failing that, spread the cooked rice out on a baking dish in a single layer and put it in the oven on a low temperature to dry it out. The texture of the dish will be better. I found the portions of this to be quite small, so I bulked it out with more vegetables (mostly cabbage). If you have it, use kecap manis in place of the soy sauce, and chicken thigh instead of chicken breast. Of course, this makes it a bit more calorie dense, so I understand why the authors chose breast. Would definitely make this again.

      This was fine, it was very flavourful but took on a lot more of the granules and boullion than the honey

  • Stuffed meatballs

      A little bit dense due to lack of bread crumbs, but tasty nonetheless

      As the previous reviewer said, the meatballs were a bit dense without any breadcrumbs but the addition of cheese was tasty. The sauce needed a little help. It was too thick and needed a longer cooking time because of my not so finely chopped carrots. I added a bit of red wine and some pasta water to loosen the sauce. I served this with some spaghetti noodles. Overall, this was a relatively easy, quick dinner recipe.

      Not a huge fan of this one. The Worcestershire sauce is too powerful so it comes off a little sour.

      These were good with some modifications. We added a 14 oz can of tomato sauce instead of the 3 tablespoons. The peppers aren't really cooked after 10 minutes in the oven, but I didn't really mind. After a liberal amount of added salt and pepper, these tasted very similar to a traditional sloppy joe mix.

      An easy dinner. Pretty tasty. I used 2 bell peppers instead of one and served it with rice.
