  • Braised chicken thighs with "pizza spices"

      Solid recipe. I used 4 instead of 8 chicken thighs but made the same amount of sauce, to end up with it being more vegetable-forward. Went well with some smashed potatoes. I was worried it might be too spice-heavy but the oregano and chili flakes were just the right amount. Will make again.

  • Roasted eggplant with tahini

      Good use of my eggplant from the garden. Very similar to what my mother used to make, except she used Chinese eggplants, steamed them then mashed them, skin and all, with Chinese sesame paste.

  • Roasted Brussels sprouts with honey, lemon and thyme dressing

      The sprouts, just roasted out of the oven, were so divine I ended up regretting putting the dressing on them as for my tastes it was way too sweet and strong with all of that honey. So 5 stars for the roasted sprouts, 3 stars for the dressing.
