Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Hannelore's pan rolls

    • Apollonia on November 23, 2020

We really liked these. Used 2 1/4 tsp of instant yeast and let dough double (instructions were not clear on this point). I did not knead in the extra flour after rising - why? - but did need to add some during kneading to keep from sticking. Lovely light lemon flavor in the buns and the prune/almond paste combo was heavenly.

  • Hazelnut drops

    • Jane on December 17, 2014

These are very soft, almost cookie dough, with only 8 minutes in the oven. I think that's why they should be eaten the day they are made. They taste good though, especially if you are a fan of hazelnuts.

  • Almond spice cookies

    • stockholm28 on October 10, 2017

Great for cardamom lovers. To get 75 cookies, you need to form really small balls (about the size of marbles). These cookies take about 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to bake.

  • Nutmeg slices

    • goodfruit on April 18, 2024

The classic refrigerator sliced cookie with a light nutmeg flavor. Simple recipe, great with tea or coffee too!
