Notes about Recipes in this book

  • 'Nduja risotto with fennel jam

    • Charlotte_vandenberg on February 12, 2023

100 g of nduja is a lot, we used 25 g because there were small children eating with us. 25 was too little, using a little more next time and there will surely be a next time!

  • Scallop carbonara

    • Charlotte_vandenberg on February 12, 2023

Perfect for a fast and delicious and very rich dinner. Should’ve used more pasta boiling water because it was a little too dry, but I already threw the rest of the boiling water away. Very easy.

  • Spinach and artichoke mac and cheese

    • mekral on May 10, 2023

It was quite nice and straightforward.

  • Portobello mushroom tikka masala

    • mekral on May 10, 2023

Was ok. The main issue is that the portobello mushrooms needs to be grilled for a longer time. Only one minute for each side is too little. The mushrooms were sort of still raw.

  • Gnudi with pea sauce and semi-dried tomatoes

    • mekral on May 10, 2023

I liked the recipe, my only issue was with the Gnudi. While the taste was ok, I preferred other Gnudi recipes. However, the biggest problem was that the Gnudi were falling apart before they properly boiled, and also when sauteing them. Definitely egg was missing in the gnudi.
