  • Perfect chicken salad

      Good. I poached boneless skinless chicken thighs in a sprightly ginger pork broth, and I honestly doubt the dish would have been as good otherwise. Also I mixed in the pickled onions Rozanne suggests as a side.

Arranged in chapters which cover party food and appetizers, first courses, soups and pasta, main courses, vegetables and side-dishes, and desserts and other sweet things. There is also a section called "A Calendar of Menus", where Rozanne Gold has organized her recipes into 52 menus spanning the seasons and festivities. There is also an index of fat-free, low-fat and low-calorie recipes.
