  • Leek and mushroom soup

      This luscious soup is a mushroom lovers dream. I had extra leeks and bunching onions from the farmer's market and figured this soup would be a great way to use them. I used the mixture of shitake and crimini mushrooms called for. The bunching onions were smaller than green onions and milder. I cut them small and stirred them into the finished soup as I served it. The toasted baguette slices with the melted Brie cheese really make this soup extra special. Next time I may use my stick blender to blend 1/3 to 1/2 the soup to a purée to make it thicker.

      Pretty good! It was a little thin for my liking, so I would definitely use less broth next time.

      Very good bolognese! Will def make again especially since it's way less guilt inducing than my normal sauce recipe and still so tasty. Everyone I served this to enjoyed it immensely. my rating: 8.7/10.

      Very good. I cut the sugar in half. Serve with rice or quinoa.

      This was a great change from the usual beef burgers and everyone loved them. The tzatziki was delicious. Next time however I will look in my Greek cookbooks to see if I can change up the spicing in the chicken a bit to make it a bit more authentic.
