      My husband and I make this several times a year. We soak the dried fruit in the marmalade and rum in advance and after we make the cake, we prepare another batch of fruit, marmalade and rum. The cooked cake keeps for weeks in a sealed container at room temperature (I keep the cake wrapped in foil). The soaking fruit also keeps for weeks or months. Love this cake!
