    The 200 included recipes are all reprinted from existing books (Beard's, Perla Myers, Julia Child, etc.). This book, which my father bought when it first came out in 1975, shaped my earliest on-my-own purchases, and for the better; it also fed a lifelong interest in cookware. For those who share that interest, it's now an excellent window into its time & place.
