Gretta Anna Teplitzky was the owner and principal of a very large cooking school in Sydney, Australia. This book is a collection Gretta developed for her classes. Its emphasis is the cuisine of France, but she has recognised the first priority of the woman who cooks, to her home and family. Eating, and the preparation of the food, are an accompaniment to the communication between people.
