      I'd been wanting to make this forever and found the perfect chance the other night cooking for my nieces, both of whom can be a bit picky. This was a huge hit - Sarah devoured the chicken and Ella loved the rice. The fact that this is a meal that is all served separately makes it ideal for picky people. Next time, I would try chicken breasts (I prefer them, though I'm sure the thighs stay juicier). I served these with pitas (essential), iceberg (a tasty addition), and tomato (not as important, I thought). We built these into pita sandwiches, but they were also good just all served together. The sauce brings it all together.

      This was delicious. I would cut the recipe for the sauce in half next time, and I wouldn't mind a bit more marinade. Also can use less water for the rice.

      Not bad, though I somehow had the expectation that this recipe would be life-changing. The recipe served plenty for 6. The chicken took far longer to keep than expected, and I thought the white sauce was underwhelming. However, both of those are fixable
